The Glitter Band, Suzie Quatro, Slade, and many more! And who more
qualified to guide us through this period of pop history than the
original lead singer and bass guitarist from The Glitter Band,
JOHN SPRINGATE. John’s professional career started in 1972 with The
Glitter Band and was lead vocalist on several of the bands hits.
“Angel Face” “People Like You And People Like Me” “The Tears I Cried”
and “Goodbye My Love”, all of which were top ten hits. John
now leaves his bass guitar at home, and is now out front, coupled with
a rye sense of humour and Glitter outfit John guides us through this
wonderful period of bad taste in clothes, platform boots and nasty hair
styles!!! On stage John delivers a powerful self contained show that
covers just about every aspect of Glam Rock which can please any generation
of audience. So with the emphasis on everyone having a good time, we hope
